The 2006 Maryland Soybean Board Biodiesel Rebate for consumers has now ended. Thanks to your enthusiastic support of biodiesel, the program rebated $20,000 in biodiesel costs, which represent an investment of at least $40,000 in biodiesel by many consumer enthusiasts in Maryland. We appreciate your support as we build the market for this fuel. Look for information after Oct. 1, 2006, regarding a new program to increase "Bioheat" sales for home heating oil.

The Maryland Soybean Board recommends that you call ahead to any retail station carrying biodiesel to confirm availability and hours.
The Bare Truck Center on Route 140 near the intersection with Route 97 in Westminster, Md., offers B5 biodiesel. (Retail) Call (410) 840-0666. This is a Cardlock location. Tevis Oil Co. is available at the same number for delivery info.
